Rebecca’s Pack

Rebecca is an amazing dog trainer that taught me so much in a few sessions for my crazy puppy. When we discussed having a session with her pack, I knew that I would be able to get some very creative shots that I imagined, and I didn’t know that they would be some of my favorites of all time.

ABOUT THE PACK

Meeting dogs of a dog trainer was a whole new experience. Rebecca is active in multiple kinds of competitions and her dogs love all of it. They love her to pieces and immediately go to work with whatever task she asks of them. Archer, the cutest gargoyle I ever met, was the happiest baby and also had focus that was unmatched. Fiver, the terrier I never knew I wanted, came in strong with all of the most adorable tricks!

ABOUT THE SESSION

Rebecca and I talked about goals for the session, and her main goal was to have a portrait of Fiver to join the other portraits on her mantle. That was an easy goal to accomplish. Then I talked about the idea of having Archer on a black backdrop for something a little more artsy, and she was extremely excited about the style I was going for. I’m so happy that we took the risk, because it gives a sense of fine art portrait that I always wanted to capture.
