Three-a-dora!

I met Theadora when she was 3 months old. She has been one of my favorite models since she started walking, because she has always been filled to the brim with personality. Somehow, I blinked and this tiny model is now 3. She is so confident and knows exactly what she wants.

ABOUT THEADORA

Turning 3 means you are full of energy, personality, and opinions. Theadora is all of these through and through! She has no problem telling “her boys”, aka her older brothers, when she doesn’t like what is going on. She helped direct her photo session, and shows her flower child personality in ways I didn’t realize is possible. She refers to herself as “Dr. Dora” regularly, knowing that she will become a doctor once she is old enough. She spends her days riding her bike, better than I can ride bikes. When you spending time with her, she fills silence with saying “Mom!” and “I’m hungry”. She is a growing tiny human, so it’s expected! Her favorite memory from the last year was getting their new puppy, Rex, even though he tries to steal her snacks. Speaking of food, she looks forward to sushi nights, and during taco nights, she is known to eat all of the guacamole! Watching her grow up has been so amazing, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!

ABOUT THE SESSION

Being 3, we don’t have a ton of time for the perfect shot, so it was definitely a lot faster than our previous sessions, but it doesn’t mean we were lacking any gems! We wanted to showcase her high spirit, so a few props were used in rotation including a rainbow number 3 balloon, my favorite pair of neon sunglasses, and some adorable daisy balloons that were a key decoration at her birthday party. Of course, her mom decided on a cute black and white matching set that has adorable flowers all over it, which couldn’t be any more perfect. It was full of goofiness, laughs, snack breaks, and a whole bunch of Theadora being her complete authentic self.
