When I found out about Kayla’s pregnancy, I knew that she was going to be the best mom! I also knew that we could make absolute magic during her pregnancy, and have images that she could cherish forever.
If anyone tells Kayla to grow a pair…. she can confidently say she already has. ;)
ABOUT KAYLA
Kayla is a boss babe to the max. Whether it be tackling all the home renovations she wants by herself, sewing Halloween costumes for strangers or talking about finances, Kayla can do it all! She is incredibly inspiring, and I am always exhausted after I hear her busy schedule. She definitely doesn’t let any grass grow under her feet. A lover of the PNW, this lady never lost her Midwest charm. Seeing her grow her tiny human inside her and experience a love like that was absolutely a joy to witness.
ABOUT THE SESSION
There was definitely a nervousness about having me capture this moment for her. Why would she want them, and would they really make her feel beautiful, were questions she asked herself. Luckily, the session aligned with her best friend visiting from Michigan and gave her the perfect confidence boost to “take a leap”. I knew her hesitations and knew that her home was where she felt the most comfortable, and picked that for her session. I told her that we should do a few outfit changes, and also changed rooms in her house. In planning, I asked her about her tub, and if she would be interested in some milk bath shots. I am so happy that we decided to do it, because they are some of my favorites! She ended up looking like a beautiful renaissance painting!
